Here’s a collection of videos I put together on the handful of cities I’ve visited since I moved to Europe.

I found Stockholm to be an incredible place with great energy. This was my first time visiting northern Europe so I finally got to experience the beautiful Scandinavian culture.

I only had a couple of days to explore the city so it was fitting to cut a video of the trip to an upbeat song by Talking Heads.

Paris is one my favorite cities. On this trip I discovered some hidden gems that made me appreciate the city even more.

Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, the City of Science and Industry, dancing and drinking by the Seine, neighborhood scenery on the 7th arrondissement and this small, intimate movie theater run by mk2 at the Grand Palais are amongst those new-found gems from this visit.

The song Little Boxes was written by singer-songwriter Malvina Reynolds in 1962. The song is a political satire about American middle-class in the 1960s and the developing of suburban neighborhoods and their houses resembling “little boxes” made of “ticky-tacky.”

Little Boxes (out of context) takes a portion of Reynolds’ song and ironically adapts it to the reality of working-class Latin American neighborhoods, also called slums.
